About this event

Join Resilient Oakland Communities and Kids (ROCK) for an engaging and interactive training led by Tasha Henneman and LaWanda Wesley. Participants will deepen their understanding of the social constructs of race and the negative impact of racism and bias on young children’s learning and development. Participants will increase awareness of how their own racial identity influences their beliefs and behaviors in their work with children. Several tools and research-based practical strategies will be introduced that educators can use to address their unconscious bias and strengthen racial equity in their work with children and adults.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Space is limited so register today!
